Just like life, photography is imperfect. But through my photography, I capture those imperfect moments to create a perfect image. Photography has been a passion of mine since the first time I picked up a camera, shooting for the school's journalism group and year book back in the 80's. The anticipation of seeing the photograph and knowing that the moment would never be captured again was exhilarating.
People always ask me what my style is. My answer; uniquely different. Two photographers could be in the same location, at the same moment, capturing the same image but the photographs would never be the same. Why? Because of our life experiences, our personalities and our inspirations. Growing up, being exposed to fashion for a quarter of a century changed my life and gave me a different perspective. As a photographer, my personality and my own experiences are portrayed in my photography. The things that I've learned over the years make me the person and photographer that I am. I will continue to grow and my photography will grow with me.
